Drone flights in Vietnam require official authorisation. We coordinate the application with the relevant government, aviation, defence and local authorities through our established production network.

Some airports, borders, military areas and other sensitive locations may be restricted or require additional approval. Applications should be prepared as early as possible once the filming schedule and locations are confirmed.
International crews normally need the appropriate authorisation to film in Vietnam before the drone permit can be processed.
Depending on the project, this may involve a press visa through the Foreign Press Center or production approval through the Vietnam Film Department.
Once the initial production authorisation is confirmed, we can coordinate the drone permit, local pilot, equipment and flight planning.
Using a local drone and pilot is often the simplest solution, because it reduces equipment import requirements and local operating restrictions.
